Working Meals... Worked!!

Over the past four months, The Decency Foundation has been running the “Working Meals” campaign to help support restaurant and healthcare workers who have been deeply affected by the coronavirus in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We worked to raise funds with the help of local restaurants to provide meals and groceries to furloughed employees and frontline healthcare workers who were working tirelessly to keep our communities safe.

During this time we were able to raise over $70,000 allowing us to deliver over 4,000 meals and grocery baskets to those in need. None of this would have been possible without all of your continued support and generous donations, so we would like to sincerely thank each and every person who contributed to the success of our campaign and the strengthening of our communities.

We would also like to thank our restaurants for all they have done to make this campaign successful.

To Jim Murray and everyone at Tre Fratelli - thank you for joining our mission early, and supporting the Pennsylvania area through your countless hours of hard work and thousands of meal donations.

To Jon McConaughy and everyone at Brick Farm Market -  Thank you for continuing to support the Hopewell community and your employees during this difficult time by providing grocery baskets and meals full of your farm fresh produce.

To Linda Passaro and everyone at Primo Amore - Thank you for sharing our message with your Northern New Jersey community, and for continuing to support your Patterson community with local organizations including  Eva’s Village and Oasis

And to Brick Farm Tavern - thank you for inspiring us with your farm to table efforts in Hopewell, your sustainable practices, and all of your support throughout this campaign.

Without question, this campaign has been a success, and it is all of you we have to thank for that. While this chapter of The Decency Foundation is drawing to a close, we are thrilled to announce that our efforts towards building a more decent future have only just begun. We are excited to announce our new project, Nu.Ag, through which we aim to support local farmers and community farming. Look for a more formal announcement coming soon on TheDecencyFoundation.Org.
